25-11-25 AGM

The clubs 2025 AGM was held on Tuesday 25th of November and it was good to see so many members attending.

Bob Harley was elected as club Chairperson

Chelle Snowden was elected as vice Chairperson, Mike Simpson Secretary, Simon Pole Treasurer, plus committee members Courtney Orme, Richard Parker, Will Lacey (Driver Rep) and Kevin Morris (Driver Rep).

After the meeting there was just enough time for three rounds of racing on a new track design which will also be used for the following two weeks in order that drivers can monitor their progress by checking their personal best results.

Next week, Tuesday 2nd December is the final round of the 2025 Superleague, booking in as usual by text message to the Clubs mobile.

18-11-25 November Clubnight

The last of three consecutive weeks using the present track design with several drivers improving on their personal best times.

Karl Norris was the only GT12 driver to achieve 42 laps in qualifying, with Oliver Whittleston on 41 laps, Ian Whiston and Richard Johnston both had 38 and Bob Harley 37.

Richard Norris LMGT3 also achieved 42 laps with a slightly quicker time that Karl. Freddie Parker LMP was quickest in qualifying by a lap and 5 seconds also setting the best lap time.

C” Final

A win for Ivan Lewty starting from pole position in the race and completing 29 laps as in qualifying with a slightly faster time. Eric Enion was a lap down in second place and Darren Thomas was the best placed “Team Thomas” driver finishing third having 25 laps.

“B” Final

Bob Harley was the winner with 37 laps after a good race with Paul Wallis who took second place on 36 laps and Chris Davis was third on 31 laps.

“A” Final

Freddie Parker LMP was the winner with 43 laps. There was a tremendous race for second and third places between Karl Norris and Richard Norris. Richard set a slightly better lap time being just 4/100th of a second less than Karl but Karl was first across the finishing line to take second place in the race by just 0.36 seconds from Richard in third. Oliver Whittleston finished fourth on 39 laps, Ian Whiston fifth with 37 laps and Richard Johnston was sixth having 36 laps.

11-11-25 Winter League Round 2

After the three qualifying rounds the top three drivers were the same as last week. Karl Norris being quickest, Oliver Whittleston in second place both on 41 laps with Chelle Snowden third on 40 laps. Dan Stones was fourth and Richard Johnston fifth on 39 laps being ahead of Ian Whiston on 38 laps. A great result for Paul Wallis in making the “A” Final with 36 laps.

Freddie Parker had 44 laps with his LMP and Josh Flanagan 42 laps with his LMGT3.

Finals

A good “C” Final with a convincing win for Alan Popejoy having 30 laps. Ivan Lewty finished in second place being three laps down on the leader. Barry Thomas took third place with 22 laps with Harry Popejoy finishing fourth.

Mike Simpson won the “B” final with 34 laps, Chris Davis was second on 33laps and Paul Carter third on 32 laps. Bob Harley set the quickest laptime but had problems with his car.

Another “A” Final win for Karl Norris with 40 laps, Chelle Snowden took second place being a lap down on Karl. Third place went to Oliver Whittleston with 38 laps, Richard Johnston was fourth on 37 laps being just ahead of Ian whiston. Paul Wallis finished in sixth place on 36 laps. Another good race to watch.

The LMP/GT3 Final was won by Josh Flanagan with Ed Carter finishing second and Freddi Parker third.

04-11-25 Winter League Round 1

A new track design this week for the first round of the 2025-26 Winter League.

Karl Norris was quickest in the GT12 Class after the three qualifying rounds with 40 laps. Chelle Snowden was in second place and Oliver Whittleston third, both on 39 laps. Dan Stones had 38 laps, Richard Johnston 37 and Bob Harley 36, all making the “A” Final

In the LMGT3 Class Josh Flanagan ha 41 laps and Philip Cooper 37. Freddie Parker made 42 laps with his LMP.

Finals

A good win for Kevin Flamson in the GT12 “C” final with Ivan Lewty setting the quickest lap of the race and finishing in second position. Darren Thomas was third.

Paul Wallis won the “B” final and also had the quickest lap of the race starting from pole position on the start grid. Kevin Morris took second place and Mike Simpson third.

A great “A” Final with Karl Norris winning, Oliver Whittleston finishing in second place ahead of Chelle Snowden in third. Dan Stones was fourth, Richard Johnston fifth and Bob Harley sixth.

Freddie Parker set the best time of the evening with his LMP having 42 laps. Jpsh Flanagan was the top LMGT3 driver with 40 laps.
