27-01-26 Winter League R7

The penultimate round of the winter league produced some incredibly close results with Karl Norris being quickest in the GT12 class after the three qualifying rounds with 42 laps/ 360.38 seconds. Oliver Whittleston and Noah Bailey were tied for second place, both with identical best times of 42 laps/ 365.75 seconds. Oliver taking second place on the tie break with Noah Being third.

Simon Pole was best in the LMGT3 class with 42 laps/ 363.58 seconds, Josh Flanagan second also on the same lap with Richard Norris third with 41 laps.

GT12 “C” Final

A win for Alan Popejoy by two laps from Darren Thomas in second place with Phil Draycott third.

GT12 “B” Final

Mike Simpson was the winner with 35 laps, Kevin Morris finished in second place and Will Lacey third.

GT12 “A” Final

Karl Norris won a very competitive race with 42 laps followed by Noah Bailey in second place and Adam Hancock third.

LMGT3 / LMP “A” Final

Simon Pole won the race and was the only driver of the evening to achieve 43 laps. Richard Norris took second place with 41 laps and Ian Whiston was third on 38 laps being two and a half seconds ahead of LMP driver Paul Fyfe.

20-01-26 January Clubnight

A great evenings racing at the January Clubnight.

Qualifying

Freddie Parker was the quickest in GT12 after the three qualifying rounds by just half a second ahead of Karl Norris. Adam Hancock was third. Oliver Whittleston was fastest in LMGT3 to take pole position in the final, Ian Whiston was in second position and Justin Heath third. In the Mini class Josh Flanagan was quickest being three laps clear of Andrew Slingsby with Chelle Snowden third.

Finals

GT12

The “C” Final was won by Darren Thomas with a good drive to finish two laps ahead of Ivan Lewty with Benedict Enion third.

In the “B” Final Bob Harley was the winner with Paul Wallis a close second, Mike Simpson finished third.

A great “A” Final as expected, Freddie Parker was the winner from pole position on the start grid, Karl Norris finished in second place and Adam Hancock third.

LMGT3

A very close run “A” final with Justin Heath winning, being just two seconds ahead of Oliver Whittleston with Ian Whiston taking third place.

Mini

Josh Flanagan won the race being three laps ahead of Andrew Slingsby in second place with Chelle Snowden a further three laps down in third.

13-01-26 Winter League R6

A new track design which will be used for the next three weeks.

After the usual three qualifying rounds Karl Norris was quickest in the GT12 class with 41 laps, Noah Bailey second and Chelle Snowden third, both being a lap down. Freddie Parker was the quickest of the two LMP’s, it was very close though, being less than two seconds ahead of Josh Flanagan, both on 42 laps. In the LMGT3 class Richard Norris had 39 laps being two laps ahead of second place driver Richard Johnston in second place.

Finals

GT12

Darren Thomas won the “D” Final being just over three seconds ahead of Ivan Lewty, both with 27 laps with Eric Enion taking third place a lap down.

A very competitive “C” Final with Mike Simpson being the winner with 33 laps, Paul Galbraith taking second place and Will Lacey third both on 32 laps.

Tim Bailey had a great drive wining the “B” Final with 39 laps being three laps clear of Bob Harley in second place with Ian Wyatt third on 35 laps.

Another thrilling “A” final with Karl Norris starting from pole position winning the race by just over half a second from Justin Heath in second place both with 40 laps. It was close for third and fourth places also, Chelle Snowden finishing just 0.23 seconds ahead of Noah Bailey on 39 laps, Adam Hancock was fifth on 38 laps.

The last race of the evening was the LMP/LMGT3 Final, Freddie Parker LMP was the overall winner with 42 laps . Richard Norris was the LMGT3 winner on 40 laps followed by Ian Whiston 38 laps, Richard Johnston 36 laps and Ed Carter 30 laps.

06-01-26 Winter League R5

The first meeting of 2026 using a similar track design to the previous two weeks with several drivers improving on their personal best results.

A good performance from “Team Bailey” in GT12 Class with Noah being setting the quickest qualifying time to take pole position in the “A” Final with 45 laps, Karl Norris was second just a few seconds adrift and Tim Bailey finished in third place on 44 laps. Chelle Snowden was fourth and Oliver Whittleston fifth, both on43 laps and Paul Wallis completed the A Final line up with 40 Laps.

Josh Flanagan was the top qualifier in the LMGT3 Class on 47 laps with Simon Pole in second place and Richard Norris third, both drivers with 46 laps.

Freddie Parker had 49 Laps with his LMP.

GT12 Finals

Kevin Flamson was in top form in the “C” Final and won with 34 laps. Another very close battle this week for second and third places between Eric Enion and Darren Thomas with Eric taking second place by just under two and a half seconds ahead of Darren, both on 29 Laps.

The “B” Final was won by Bob Harley on 39 Laps and also having the quickest lap time in the race. A great race for second and third places between Ian Wyatt and Kevin Morris with both drivers finishing on 38 Laps and two seconds apart, Kevin taking second place and Ian third.

Another tremendous “A” Final with Noah Bailey starting from pole position. At the finish Karl Norris was the winner on 45 Laps, Noah took second place with 44 Laps, Oliver Whittleston was third and Tim Bailey fourth both on 43 Laps. Chelle Snowden was fifth on 42 laps and Tim Bailey sixth with 38 Laps.

LMP/LMGT3 Final

The first three drivers all achieved 47 Laps with Freddie Parker being quickest with his LMP . Josh Flanagan was the top LMGT3 driver with Simon Pole in second place on the same laps. Richard Norris took third place on 45 Laps. Ian Whiston was fourth on 43 Laps and Richard Johnston fifth with 41 Laps.
