A very fast and flowing track design this week producer some great racing.
Club Mardave Class
Mike Simpson was on top form this week and took advantage of the fact that Richard Parker had a few issues with his car, a maximum points for Mike being fastest qualifier and winning the final by just under five seconds from Richard.
Joshua Galbraith was the top qualifier in division 2 but was beaten by Callum Ward in the finals.
Darren Ford was the driver to beat being fastest qualifier by one lap ahead of Dave Tomlinson and Daniel Williams. A repeat performance in the final gave him another win, lapping everyone, Daniel Williams was second and Dave Tomlinson third after being hindered when his motor pod came adrift part way through the race.
Next week is the final round of the current league, not all the positions are decided yet so the pressure will be on to get a good result on the evening.
Dave Tomlinson was the designer this week – nearly managed to use all the corners!
Club Mardave Class
Richard Parker was the runaway victor again, come on drivers lets see if we can give him a challenging race next week!
Well done Jenson Butlin for another great performance in division 2, new member Callum Ward got off to a good start taking second place in both qualifying and the finals.
Darren Ford finally got his car sorted (having to add a few weights after scruitineering!!!) and was the top qualifier with 34 laps ahead of David Simpson and Dave Tomlinson who both made 33 laps. It all went wrong for Darren in the final due to some technical problems leaving David Simpson and Daniel Williams to fight it out for the win, David getting to the line first.
A David Simpson design
Another good evenings racing with Richard Parker again leading the way in the Mardave class, Jenson Butlin also did well in division 2 to take another maximum points from the evening.
In the GT12 class David Simpson was the fastest qualifier but it was guest driver Simon Galbraith who won the final.

Three seven minute qualifying heats and a ten minute final this week giving a total racing time on the track of thirty one minutes!
No changes to the positions in the Mardave division 1, but a great performance from Richard Parker to gain maximum points once again although the final was close with Mike Simpson finishing in second place, both drivers scoring 63 laps.
Jenson Butlin had the edge over Joshua Galbraith and extended his lead in division 2 by three points – it is still very close though with three rounds remaining.
Bob Harley regained the lead in the GT12 class, however Daniel Williams took maximum points winning a very exciting final to watch from Louis Parker by just 1 second, both getting 69 laps and setting some very fast lap times, the best being 7.71 seconds by Louis.
An Alun Williams design this week with a zig zag of tight bends down the centre section.
