20-01-26 January Clubnight

A great evenings racing at the January Clubnight.

Qualifying

Freddie Parker was the quickest in GT12 after the three qualifying rounds by just half a second ahead of Karl Norris. Adam Hancock was third. Oliver Whittleston was fastest in LMGT3 to take pole position in the final, Ian Whiston was in second position and Justin Heath third. In the Mini class Josh Flanagan was quickest being three laps clear of Andrew Slingsby with Chelle Snowden third.

Finals

GT12

The “C” Final was won by Darren Thomas with a good drive to finish two laps ahead of Ivan Lewty with Benedict Enion third.

In the “B” Final Bob Harley was the winner with Paul Wallis a close second, Mike Simpson finished third.

A great “A” Final as expected, Freddie Parker was the winner from pole position on the start grid, Karl Norris finished in second place and Adam Hancock third.

LMGT3

A very close run “A” final with Justin Heath winning, being just two seconds ahead of Oliver Whittleston with Ian Whiston taking third place.

Mini

Josh Flanagan won the race being three laps ahead of Andrew Slingsby in second place with Chelle Snowden a further three laps down in third.

13-01-26 Winter League R6

A new track design which will be used for the next three weeks.

After the usual three qualifying rounds Karl Norris was quickest in the GT12 class with 41 laps, Noah Bailey second and Chelle Snowden third, both being a lap down. Freddie Parker was the quickest of the two LMP’s, it was very close though, being less than two seconds ahead of Josh Flanagan, both on 42 laps. In the LMGT3 class Richard Norris had 39 laps being two laps ahead of second place driver Richard Johnston in second place.

Finals

GT12

Darren Thomas won the “D” Final being just over three seconds ahead of Ivan Lewty, both with 27 laps with Eric Enion taking third place a lap down.

A very competitive “C” Final with Mike Simpson being the winner with 33 laps, Paul Galbraith taking second place and Will Lacey third both on 32 laps.

Tim Bailey had a great drive wining the “B” Final with 39 laps being three laps clear of Bob Harley in second place with Ian Wyatt third on 35 laps.

Another thrilling “A” final with Karl Norris starting from pole position winning the race by just over half a second from Justin Heath in second place both with 40 laps. It was close for third and fourth places also, Chelle Snowden finishing just 0.23 seconds ahead of Noah Bailey on 39 laps, Adam Hancock was fifth on 38 laps.

The last race of the evening was the LMP/LMGT3 Final, Freddie Parker LMP was the overall winner with 42 laps . Richard Norris was the LMGT3 winner on 40 laps followed by Ian Whiston 38 laps, Richard Johnston 36 laps and Ed Carter 30 laps.

06-01-26 Winter League R5

The first meeting of 2026 using a similar track design to the previous two weeks with several drivers improving on their personal best results.

A good performance from “Team Bailey” in GT12 Class with Noah being setting the quickest qualifying time to take pole position in the “A” Final with 45 laps, Karl Norris was second just a few seconds adrift and Tim Bailey finished in third place on 44 laps. Chelle Snowden was fourth and Oliver Whittleston fifth, both on43 laps and Paul Wallis completed the A Final line up with 40 Laps.

Josh Flanagan was the top qualifier in the LMGT3 Class on 47 laps with Simon Pole in second place and Richard Norris third, both drivers with 46 laps.

Freddie Parker had 49 Laps with his LMP.

GT12 Finals

Kevin Flamson was in top form in the “C” Final and won with 34 laps. Another very close battle this week for second and third places between Eric Enion and Darren Thomas with Eric taking second place by just under two and a half seconds ahead of Darren, both on 29 Laps.

The “B” Final was won by Bob Harley on 39 Laps and also having the quickest lap time in the race. A great race for second and third places between Ian Wyatt and Kevin Morris with both drivers finishing on 38 Laps and two seconds apart, Kevin taking second place and Ian third.

Another tremendous “A” Final with Noah Bailey starting from pole position. At the finish Karl Norris was the winner on 45 Laps, Noah took second place with 44 Laps, Oliver Whittleston was third and Tim Bailey fourth both on 43 Laps. Chelle Snowden was fifth on 42 laps and Tim Bailey sixth with 38 Laps.

LMP/LMGT3 Final

The first three drivers all achieved 47 Laps with Freddie Parker being quickest with his LMP . Josh Flanagan was the top LMGT3 driver with Simon Pole in second place on the same laps. Richard Norris took third place on 45 Laps. Ian Whiston was fourth on 43 Laps and Richard Johnston fifth with 41 Laps.

30-12-25 Winter League R4

The last meeting of 2025 marking the half way point of the 2025/26 Winter League.

Qualifying

Karl Norris was top qualifier in the GT12 class with Noah Bailey in second place, both having 44 laps. There were four drivers on 43 laps, Chelle Snowden, Justin Heath, Dan Stones and Tim Bailey.

Simon Pole was quickest in the LMGT3 class with 46 laps, followed by Josh Flanagan on 45 laps and Ian Whiston 41 in second and third places.

LMP driver Freddie Parker had 48 laps and visiting driver Noah Stevenson 47.

Finals

Visiting driver Andy Hughes was the winner of the GT12 “C” final having 34 laps. Darren Thomas took second place after a very close race with Eric Enion who finished third, with Junior member Benedict Enion fourth.

the “B” Final was won by Ian Wyatt with 37 laps with Mike Simpson a lap down in second place. Kevin Morris set the fastest lap of the race and finished in third place with 35 laps.

As usual the “A” final was very competitive, Karl Norris started from pole position and also set the fastest lap but at the finish Noah Bailey was the winner by just 2.41 seconds, both on 43 laps. Justin Heath was third on 42 laps, Dan Stones fourth and Tim Bailey fifth both on 41 laps.

Philip Cooper was the winner of the LMGT3 “B” Final with 41 laps, Ian Whiston took second plae o 40 laps, and Richard Johnston was thid with 39 laps.

Josh Flanagan was the quickest driver in th LMGT3/ LMP “A” final, just ahead on Simon Pole in second place, both drivers on 45 laps. Freddie Parker was the fastest LMP with 47 laps ahead of Noah Stevenson on 46 laps.

23-12-25 Xmas Trophy Meeting

The penultimate meeting of 2025 with trophies for the first thee drivers in each final being awarded a trophy produced some great races.

GT12

Adam Hancock won the GT12 “A” Final by just 1.3 seconds from Tim Bailey in second place with Dan Stones third being a lap down on the leaders.

Bob Harley was the winner of the “B”Final being two laps ahead of Kevin Morris in second place with Chris Davis finishing third.

The “C” Final soon developed into a battle between Darren Thomas and Eric Enion, both driving consistently. Darren had the quickest lap of the race but at the finish Eric was the winner by just under five seconds. Darren took second place and Demi Knight in her first trophy meeting was third.

LMGT3 / LMP

Freddie Parker driving his LMP had 45 laps and was the winner of the “A” Final race by one lap.

Karl Norris was the LMGT3 class “A” Final winner on 44 laps with Josh Flanagan taking second place with 43 laps and Simon Pole finishing third a further lap own.

In the LMGT3 “B” Final the winner was Oliver Whittleston who had a convincing win with 43 laps, Ian Whiston was second on 41 laps and Philip Cooper third on 39 laps.

Bob Harley presented the Trophies to conclude a most enjoyable evenings racing..

16-12-25 Winter League R3

Noah Bailey was the top GT12 qualifier this by just under two seconds ahead of Karl Norris, both with 42 laps. There were two drivers on 41 laps, Oliver Whittleston and Adam Hancock. In the LMGT3 class Josh Flanagan was fastest and Richard Norris in second place, both with 43 laps.

GT12 C Final

A good win for Darren Thomas with 28 laps and also setting the quickest lap of the race, Eric Enion finished in second place and Kevin Flamson third, both being a lap down on Darren.

GT12 B Final

Ian Wyatt was the winner with 36 laps, also setting the fastest lap, Mike Simpson was second with 35 laps and Chris Davis third on 33 laps.

GT12 A Final

Another great race with Noah Bailey winning from pole position and Karl Norris taking second place just 1.8 seconds adrift, both drivers having 42 laps. A good race for third and fourth places brtween Adam Hancock and Oliver Whittleston, both drivers with 40 laps with Adam being quickest. Bob Harley was fifth and Chelle Snowden sixth.

LMGT3 Final

A tremendous race for the lead this between Josh Flanagan and Richard Norris. At the finish Josh was the winner with Richard just 0.52 seconds behind, both on 41 laps. Ian Whiston finished third with 40 laps and Richard Johnston fourth with 39 laps, Ed Carter was fifth.

09-12-25 December Clubnight

Twenty one drivers this week for the December Clubnight on the last of three weeks using the same track design.

The GT12 qualifying was very close, Karl Norris was quickest followed by Noah Bailey and Oliver Whittleston all on 42 Laps. In LMGT3 Josh Flanagan on 43 laps was a lap clear of Simon Pole in second place with Ian Whiston third on 29 laps. Freddie Parker had 45 laps with his LMP.

Before the Finals Chelle Snowden presented the Summer League and Superleague trophies

GT12 “C” Final.

A very close finish with Eric Enion winning by just over a second from Kevin Flamson in second place and setting the fastest lap of the race. Darren Thomas took third place.

GT12 “B” Final

Paul Wallis set the fastest lap and won the race, Ian Wyatt took second place, both drivers on 36 laps. Mike Simpson was third with 35 laps.

GT12 “A” Final

A tremendous finish to this race this with Noah Bailey making a very slick overtake of Karl Norris in the later stage of the race to win by just 0.23 seconds on 42 laps. Oliver Whittleston and Adam Hancock both finished with 41 Laps, Oliver taking third place by 1.2 seconds. Bob Harley finished fifth.

LM “A” Final

Freddie Parker was fastest, having 46 laps with his LMP. In the LMGT3 class Simon Pole was the winner folllowed by Josh Flanagan, both on 42 laps. Richard Johnston had 39 laps, Ian Whiston 38 and Ed Carter 29laps

Next Tuesday 16th December is round 3 of the Winter League , booking in as usual by text message to the Club Mobile.

02-12-25 Superleague R6

The final round of the 2025 superleague this week with three qualifying rounds and a final as usual.

After the qualifying roundsKarl Norris was the quickest in GT12 with 42 laps followed by Oliver Whittleston and Adam Hancock on 41 laps. There were three LMGT3 drivers with 42 laps, Josh Flanagan was quickest, Simon Pole second and Richard Norris thirrd. Freddie Parker completed 44 laps with his LMP.

Finals

A good win for Darren Thomas in the “C” final with 26 laps and being just over 4 seconds ahead of Alan Popejoy in second place. Barry Thomas took third place with 23 laps.

Mike Simpson was the winner of the “B” Final with 35 laps, it was an extremely close race for second and third places with Chris Davis finishing three seconds ahead of Paul Carter, Paul was third, both on 32 laps.

Another great “A” final with Karl Norris the winner by just over two and a half seconds ahead of Oliver Whittleston, both having 41 laps. A good evening for “Team Norris” with Benn taking third place being just 1/10th of a second quicker than Adam Hancock. Both drivers with 40 laps. Richard Johnston was fifth and Richard Parker sixth.

Freddie Parker had 44 laps with his LMP. In LMGT3 Josh Flanagan was the top driver on 41 laps, Richard Norris in second place also with 41 laps. Ian whiston had 39 laps, Simon Pole 38 and Philip Cooper 36.

25-11-25 AGM

The clubs 2025 AGM was held on Tuesday 25th of November and it was good to see so many members attending.

Bob Harley was elected as club Chairperson

Chelle Snowden was elected as vice Chairperson, Mike Simpson Secretary, Simon Pole Treasurer, plus committee members Courtney Orme, Richard Parker, Will Lacey (Driver Rep) and Kevin Morris (Driver Rep).

After the meeting there was just enough time for three rounds of racing on a new track design which will also be used for the following two weeks in order that drivers can monitor their progress by checking their personal best results.

18-11-25 November Clubnight

The last of three consecutive weeks using the present track design with several drivers improving on their personal best times.

Karl Norris was the only GT12 driver to achieve 42 laps in qualifying, with Oliver Whittleston on 41 laps, Ian Whiston and Richard Johnston both had 38 and Bob Harley 37.

Richard Norris LMGT3 also achieved 42 laps with a slightly quicker time that Karl. Freddie Parker LMP was quickest in qualifying by a lap and 5 seconds also setting the best lap time.

C” Final

A win for Ivan Lewty starting from pole position in the race and completing 29 laps as in qualifying with a slightly faster time. Eric Enion was a lap down in second place and Darren Thomas was the best placed “Team Thomas” driver finishing third having 25 laps.

“B” Final

Bob Harley was the winner with 37 laps after a good race with Paul Wallis who took second place on 36 laps and Chris Davis was third on 31 laps.

“A” Final

Freddie Parker LMP was the winner with 43 laps. There was a tremendous race for second and third places between Karl Norris and Richard Norris. Richard set a slightly better lap time being just 4/100th of a second less than Karl but Karl was first across the finishing line to take second place in the race by just 0.36 seconds from Richard in third. Oliver Whittleston finished fourth on 39 laps, Ian Whiston fifth with 37 laps and Richard Johnston was sixth having 36 laps.
