28-10-25 Summer League R11

The final round of the 2025 Summer League using the same track design as the previous two weeks.

The qualifying was very competitive as usual with Karl Norris and Oliver Whittleston both achieving 40 laps in the GT12 Class, Karl being quickest by just under a second. Chelle Snowden was third on 38 laps, Ian Whiston fourth on 37 laps.

Freddie Parker was quickest overall having 41 laps with his LMP.

Finals

Benedict Enion won the “D” Final, being two laps ahead of Darren Thomas with Barry Thomas finishing third.

The “C” Final was won by Ed Carter with 31 laps, a good race this with Ivan Lewty taking second place being two laps adrift of Ed and Kevin Flamson was third being a further lap down.

Bob Harley won the “B” Final by just under three seconds with 36 laps after a close race with Kevin Morris, Mike Simpson took third place being a lap behind the leaders.

In the “A” final GT12, Karl Norris was a lap quicker than Oliver Whittleston with Chelle Snowden finishing in third place. Freddie Parker set the best result of the evening with 42 laps.

21-10-225 October Clubnight

The second week with a similar track design with all seventeen drivers improving on their personal best scores.

After the three qualifying rounds Richard Norris with his LMGT3 was quickest on 40 laps.

In the GT12 Class it was an extremely close a result for the top qualifier with two drivers, Karl Norris and Oliver Whittleston both achieving 40 laps. Oliver was quickest by just 0.23 seconds and also set the fastest lap time.

“D” Final

Benedict Enion had the quickest lap of the race but Darren Thomas was the winner with Benedict taking second place, both with 25 laps. Barry Thomas was third on 24 laps.

“C” Final

Carly Hopper had yet another win in a final with 29 laps being two laps ahead of Ivan Lewty in second place. It was a close result for third place with Eric Enion finishing just ahead of Ed Carter, both on 26 laps.

“B” Final

Kevin Morris starting from pole position was in the lead throughout the race to win with 35 laps. Mike Simpson was second on 34 laps and Paul Carter third with 30 laps.

“A” Final

As expected this was a tremendous race with Karl Norris starting from third place on the start grid setting the best time and quickest lap time of the evening to win the race. Oliver Whittleston was second just under three seconds adrift with Richard Norris (LMGT3) taking third place, all three drivers having 40 laps. Chelle Snowden was fourth with 39 laps and Bob Harley fifth on 35 laps.

14-10-25 Superleague 2025 R5

A new track design this week for the penultimate round of the this years Superleague.

Qualifying

Four drivers achieved 38 laps with Karl Norris racing his GT12 setting the best qualifying time of the evening.

Oliver Whittleston was in second place just over four seconds behind Karl. Benn Norris was third, Justin Heath fourth and Noah Bailey fifth all on 37 laps.

Both LMGT3 drivers made 38 laps with Simon Pole being the quickest, being just over 5 seconds ahead of Richard Norris.

Finals

D Final

A convincing win for Darren Thomas with Benedict Enion taking second place ahead of Barry Thomas finishing third.

C Final

Carly Hopper was the winner with 28 laps, being two laps ahead of second place driver Ed Carter. Ivan Lewty was third being a further lap down.

B Final

A fine win for Noah Bailey with 38 laps, Richard Johnston took second place and Justin Heath third, both with 36 laps.

A Final

Oliver Whittleston set the fastest lap time in a thrilling race to watch, Karl Norris was the winner by just under two seconds with Richard Norris finishing in second place, both with 39 laps. Oliver finished third and Simon Pole fourth on 38 laps and Benn Norris fifth with 37. Three Norris in one “A” Final!

07-10-25 Summer League R10

The qualifying was very close with four GT12 drivers having 36 laps. Karl Norris was the quickest followed by Oliver Whittleston just 1.64 seconds adrift. Chelle Snowden took third place and Justin Heath was fourth. Josh Flanagan achieved 38 laps in LMGT3 with Richard Norris on 37 laps. Freddie Parker had 39 laps with his LMP.

Finals

Chris Davis was the winner of the GT12 “D” Final on 26 laps being five laps clear of Darren Thomas in second place with Barry Thomas third a further three laps down,

In the “C” Final Will Lacey and Carly Hopper had a great race with Will winning with 27 Laps, just ahead of Carly on 26. Ed Carter was third on 25 Laps.

A win for Paul Wallis in the “B” final on 34 Laps, Bob Harley was second with 33 Laps with Mike Simpson finishing third on 31.

The “A” Final was won by Karl Norris with an impressive 36 Laps. There were three driver on 35 Laps, Justin Heath took second place, Chelle Snowden third and Oliver Whittleston fourth. Richard Johnston finished fifth and Ian Whiston sixth, both achieving 34 Laps. As usual a great race to watch.

In the LMP/LMGT3 Final Freddie Parker was the winner with 40 Laps, LMGT3 drivers Josh Flanagan and Richard Norris finishing second and third with. 38 and 37 Laps.

This was the third week using the same track design which will be changed for the following three weeks racing.

30-09-25 Summer League R9

Twenty five drivers this week for round 9 of the summer league. Karl Norris was the quickest in the GT12 class after the three qualifying rounds having 35 laps. There were four drivers with 34 laps, Chelle Snowden in second place, visiting driver Oliver Whittleston third, Justin Heath fourth and Ian Whiston in fifth place.

In the LMGT3 class Simon Pole was fastest ahead of Richard Norris, both drivers on 36 laps.

Freddie Parker in the was fastest in qualifying having 37 laps with his LMP.

Finals

A close finish in the GT12 “C” final with Eric Enion winning being just over three seconds ahead of Darren Thomas, both with 23 laps. Barry Thomas took third place being two laps behind the leaders.

A win for Mike Simpson in the GT12 “B” Final with 29 laps, Ian Wyatt finished on the same lap in second place and set the fastest lap in the race. Ed Carter took third place with 26 laps, being three laps behind the leaders.

Another great GT12 “A” Final with all drivers finishing in their start grid order. Karl Norris was the winner with Chelle Snowden taking second place, both drivers on 35 laps. Visiting driver Oliver Whittleston was third and Justin Heath fourth, both with 34 laps. Ian Whiston finished fifth and Bob Harley sixth both with 33 laps and Paul Wallis seventh on 32.

In the last final of the evening Freddie Parker driving his LMP won, having 38 laps, LMGT3 drivers Richard Norris and Simon Pole finished in second and third places on 36 laps with LMP driver Dan Stones taking fourth place, also on 36 Laps. Philip Cooper LMGT3 finished fifth with 33 laps.

An entertaining evenings racing with several drivers improving on their personal best times on the present track design. which will be used again next week.

With Just two rounds remaining in the Summer League the current leaders are F1 Karl Norris, F2 Ian Wyatt and F3 Ivan Lewty.

23-09-25 September Clubnight

An ordinary clubnight this week with no championship points at stake.

Qualifying

After the thee qualifying rounds Paul Wallis was quickest in the GT12 class with Bob Harley in second place, both on 31 laps. Paul Carter was third with 28 laps

In the LMGT3 class Karl Norris was the top qualifier with 36 laps, ahead of Josh Flanagan on 35 laps and Ian Whiston 32 laps.

Finals

The GT12 “B” Final was a very close race between Chris Davis and Ed Carter, at the finish Chris was the winner just 1.64 seconds ahead of Ed, both on 25 laps. Barry Thomas took third place with 18 laps.

The GT12 “A” Final soon developed into a race between Paul Wallis and Bob Harley, Paul set the fastest lap time and won the race by 5.6 seconds, both drivers having 32 laps. Paul Carter took third place with 28 laps.

The LMGT3 “A” Final was run at a very fast pace with Josh Flanagan setting the fastest lap. The race was won by Karl Norris with 36 laps. Josh finished second on 35 laps and Ian Whiston was third with 33 laps. A great race to conclude the evenings racing

16-09-25 Summer League R8

The third and final week using the same track design with several drivers improving on their personal best results.

Qualifying

A good start for “Team Norris” in the GT12 class, both drivers achieving 41 laps with Karl taking first place and pole position in the “A” final and Benn in second place . Justin Heath was third on 40 laps.

Josh Flanagan was the top LMGT3 driver on 43 laps, a lap ahead of Simon Pole and visiting driver James Stewart in second and third places.

The quickest qualifying time was set by Freddie Parker in LMP12 with 46 laps.

Finals

Kevin Flamson won the GT12 “C” final being six laps ahead of Eric Enion in second place with Barry Thomas being the top “Team Thomas” driver of the evening a further lap adrift. Well done Kevin!

Ian Wyatt starting from pole position was the winner of the “B” final, Mike Simpson took second place and fast improving Ed Carter was third.

The GT12 “A” Final was a very close race with the first three drivers all finishing on 40 laps. Karl Norris was the winner, Benn Norris took second place and Justin Heath third. Richard Johnston took fourth place and Bob Harley fifth.

In the last race of the evening Freddie Parker was the winner with 43 laps driving his LMP12. Simon Pole took second place, being the top LMGT3 driver on 42 laps. Richard Norris was third on 40 laps.

A good evenings racing, thanks to Courtney Orme at race control and everyone who helped set up and pack away all the equipment at the end of the evening.

09-09-25 Summer League Round 7

A good result in GT12 qualifying for “Team Norris” with Karl being quickest having 40 laps, Benn Norris taking second place and Chelle Snowden third, both on 39 laps. Josh Flanagan set the pace in LMGT3 with 41 laps followed by Freddie Parker LMP.

Prior to the finals Courtney Orme presented the Spring league trophies, well done all the winners.

Finals

Eric Enion won the “D” Final being just ahead of Ivan Lewty, both drivers with 26 laps, Darren Thomas finished third.

The “C” final winner was Paul Carter with some very consistent driving during his 32 laps. Kevin Flamson was two laps down in second place and Ed Carter finished third on 28 laps.

Richard Johnston won the “B” final having 38 laps after a very close race with visiting driver Phillip Cooper who had 37 laps. Third place went to Paul Wallis with 36 laps.

Freddie Parker set the pace with his LMP in the “A” Final with 43 laps. Josh Flanagan LMGT3 took second place and Simon Pole was third, both on 40 laps. Chelle Snowden was the top GT12 driver on 39 laps.

02-09-25 Summer League Round 6

A change of track design from the previous three weeks, after the three qualifying rounds Karl Norris was quickest in the GT12 class with 40 laps followed by Justin Heath and Chelle Snowden both on 38 laps in second and third places.

LMGT3 driver Josh Flanagan was quickest overall, also on 40 laps with Richard Norris and Simon Pole both having 39 Laps.

Finals

Ivan Lewty won the “D” final with 26 laps after a close race with Eric Enion who took second place on the same laps, with Darren Thomas finishing third on 24 laps.

The “C” Final winner was Mike Simpson having 32 laps with new member Chris Davis finishing in third on 29 laps just ahead of Kevin Flamson.

Chelle Snowden was a good win in the “B” Final with 38 laps, Richard Johnston was second on 36 laps and Paul Wallis third having 35 laps.

The “A” final race containing both GT12 and LMGT3 drivers was a tremendous race. Josh Flanagan starting from pole position set the fastest lap, but after an incredibly close race between Karl Norris, Josh and Richard Norris, Karl was the winner on 40 laps. Richard finished second and Josh third, both having 39 laps after failing by a few hundredths of a second to get the chance of an extra lap. A great race to watch!

26-08-25 August Clubnight

A good evenings racing with some very close results on a Clubnight with no championship points at stake and using the same track design as the previous two weeks.

Many thanks to Bob Harley for cleaning the carpets with his vacuum prior to racing. It was also good to see everyone helping to pack away all the equipment at the end of the evening.
