The start of the winter league with the best six from nine rounds to count.

Karl Norris was in excellent form, being quickest in all three qualifying rounds and winning the A Final – a good start in his quest to regain the F1 league trophy from Autumn League winner Simon Pole. Simon was second in the A Final, Guy Rogers third and Benn Norris driving Kayleigh Knights car this week finished fourth ahead of Bob Harley.

Nick Wallace was the winner of the B Final just over two seconds ahead of Kayleigh using Benn’s car, Dan Stones was third, Freddie Parker finished fourth with another good drive, Mike Simpson was fifth. I suspect that Kayleigh will have her own car back next week!!!!!

Yet another exciting C Final, Saul Theobold was the winner, Kaelin Thompson finshed second, Adam Cowell third, Euan Lees fourth and Olly Statham fifth.

An ordinary clubnight this week prior to the start of the Winter League.

Karl Norris was the top qualifier with Simon Pole just over a second slower. Kayleigh Knight was third and Chelle Snowden fourth, both being a lap down on the leader.

A very close and keenly contested “C” Final was won by Saul Theobold from Kaelin Thompson in second place and Adam Cowell third.

Benn Norris had a great win in the “B” Final, Dan Stones also had a fine drive to take second place, Nick Wallace finished third and Freddie Parker fourth.

Simon Pole was the winner in the “A” Final, Karl Norris finished second and also set the fastest lap. Chelle Sowden, Kayleigh Knight and Guy Rogers were third, fourth and fifth respectively being a lap down on Karl.

Looking forward to some great racing in the forthcoming winter league!

A tremendous finish to the Autumn League in GT12 F3, Saul Theobold won the “C” Final but second place for Kaelin Thompson was enough to equal Saul’s final League points of 595. In the tie break Kaelin was the league winner on countback, with Saul taking second place and Adam Cowell third.

Nick Wallace won the “B” Final, Benn Norris was second just under three seconds adrift with F3 driver Freddie Parker taking third place with a tremendous performance – well done Freddie!!!!!!
Benn was the F2 League winner with 598 points, Mike Simpson was second, just two points ahead of Dan Stones in third place.

Karl Norris won the “A” Final with 42 laps, Chelle Snowden was second and Simon Pole third both on 41 Laps.
Simon won the F1 League winner with 599 out of a possible 600 points, Karl Norris was second with 597 and Chelle Snowden third on 588.

Next week is an ordinary clubnight.

The penultimate round of the current league again produced some very competitive racing.

Saul Theobold won the “C” Final with 35 laps followed by Kaelin Thompson in second place and Adam Cowell third.

Benn Norris was the winner in the “B” Final on 39 laps, Mike Simpson took second place and Freddie Parker was third, also being the highest placed F3 driver. Dan Stones unfortunately had to retire from the race after an electrical problem with his car.

An exciting “A” Final was won by Karl Norris with 42 laps, Simon Pole finished second and Chelle Snowden was third.

With just the final round of the league remaining several of the leading positions have yet to be decided.

Kaelin Thompson leads F3 by just a single point from Saul Theobold in second place, and either Ian Craig or Euan Lees could finish third.

Benn Norris has the F2 League wrapped up but the second and third places are yet to be decided between Dan Stones and Mike Simpson.

A Reduced number of drivers this week partly due to school half term holidays but it was good to see Freddie Parker and Olly Statham both racing again at Burton.

After the three qualifying rounds Simon Pole was top qualifier followed by Chelle Snowden and Darren Ford.

The C Final was won by Euan Lees with Olly Statham taking second place and Ian Craig third.

Dan Stones had a great win in the B Final being a lap ahead of second place driver Mike Simpson. Freddie Parker took third place to be the top F3 driver, it was close though with Saul Theobold and Kaelin Thompson both finishing on the same lap as Freddie.

Another A Final win for Simon Pole, Chelle Snowden was second, Darren Ford third and Bob Harley fourth.

Just two rounds remaining in the league with six from a possible eight round scores to count, drivers who have raced in every round have two chances to discard their lowest scores.

A slightly modified track to last week again produced some great racing.

Saul Theobold won the C Final with Adam Cowell taking second place and Euan Lees third.

Nick Wallace was the winner of the B Final with Benn Norris second and Bob Harris third, both being a lap down on Nick.

Yet another epic A Final with Simon Pole taking the win again, Karl Norris finishing second and Chelle Snowden third.

Just three more rounds remaining in the league, Simon Pole leads GT12 F1, Benn Norris F2 and Ian Craig F3. With the best six from a possible eight rounds to count the final positions could change dramatically.

Next week is round six.

Qualifying
Karl Norris was top qualifier with 40 laps, closely followed by Simon Pole who was just under 4 seconds adrift. Darren Ford and Kayleigh Knight were third and fourth respectively on 38 laps. A fine run in round 3 by Bob Harley secured him the remaining place in the A Final.

Finals
Saul Theobold won the “C” Final, Adam Cowell took second place and Ian Craig was third.

Benn Norris was the winner of a very competitive “B” Final, Nick Wallace was second and Mike Simpson third.

Yet another great “A” Final to watch with the winner Karl Norris finishing just under three seconds ahead of Simon Pole, ending Simon’s run of three consecutive “A” Final wins! Darren Ford was third, Kayleigh Knight Fourth and Bob Harley Fifth.

A new track design this week for the third round of the Autumn League.

Simon Pole was the top qualifier and went on to win the “A” Final for the third week in succession, just 0.41 Seconds ahead of Karl Norris. Darren Ford took third place and Chelle Snowden fourth.

It was good to see Bob Harris racing again at Burton and winning the “B” Final being a lap clear of Benn Norris in second place with Mike Simpson third. Well done Saul Theobold for qualifying for the “B” Final for the first time.

Bob Harley after having problems with his car all evening was the winner of the “C” Final, new member Adam Cowell finished in second place and Euan Lees was third.

A good evenings racing.

After three rounds of the Autumn league Simon Pole is the only driver to score maximum points.

The track being a similar design to that used last week for Round 1 seemed to suit Simon Pole as he was fastest qualifier and also won the “A” Final for the second week in succession, it was close though with Karl Norris less than two seconds behind and also setting the fastest lap by 1/100th second. Darren Ford finished in third place and Chelle Snowden fourth.

Benn Norris won the “B” Final ahead of Nick Wallace with Mike Simpson in third place.

Ben Theobold finished first in the “C” Final, a lap clear of Kaelin Thompson, Paul Carter and Saul Theobold.

Some close racing, most drivers improving on their personal best number of laps from last week. Is everyone improving or was the track a little easier??????

Simon Pole consolidated his lead in F1 with maximum points, Benn Norris leads F2 with Mckenzie Wallace in second place, Kaelin Thompson is the leader in F3 ahead of Ian Craig – watch out for Ben Theobold next week following his win this week in the C Final.
