Round 2 of the 2019 Superleague this week.
Top qualifier in the GT12 Class was again Karl Norris with Justin Heath in second place only five seconds adrift.
Quickest in LMP12 was Ashley King – could he win the final and finish ahead of Steve Donald for the first time in three weeks????

Finals
First to race was the GT12 C Final where new member Chris Davis was the winner, Saul Theobold took second place, Alfie Hart third and Olly Statham fourth. It was good to see all three junior members having a good race and continuing to improve.

In the B Final Bob Harris looked to have the race won but had to retire after a racing incident leaving Mike Simpson to win, Paul Carter just promoted to F2 finished in second place and Jack Walsh third. An exciting race to watch.

Karl Norris won yet another A Final with in form Justin Heath having a great drive to finish in second place a lap clear of Simon Pole in third.

The last race of the evening was the LMP12 final where Steve Donald was the winner, Ashley King despite setting the fastest lap finished in second place just under a lap behind Steve (again!) with visiting driver Andy Plimmer taking third place.

A long way to go in the league yet with the best five from a possible six rounds to count.
