Twenty-one drivers raced on a track design similar to last week, it is intended to retain the design for a further week – it will be interesting to see who improves their times!
Three Rounds of qualifying and a final as usual, see full results on results page.
Karl Norris was top qualifier, Peter Stockton was second, both with 44 laps, Darren Ford was third on 43 laps, Chelle Snowden was fourth and Guy Rogers fifth on 42 laps.
Ian Craig won the D Final, his car performing well after some attention from Bob Harley. It was good to see new drivers racing, well done to Euan Lees on taking second place, commiserations to Keisha Deacon as her car failed to move, better luck next time. Does she need to change her pit crew Stephen?
The C Final was very close, Paul Carter was the winner, Kaelin Thompson took second place and Paul Dewsnap third and also had the quickest lap.
Nick Wallace and Simon Pole dominated the B Final, a very close race between these two with Nick winning by less than half a second, Mike Simpson was third.
Just the A Final left to finish off the evenings racing and it provided yet another very close finish between Karl Norris and Peter Stockton. Karl was the winner , Peter second and Chelle Snowden took third place.
A great end to the evening.
