Qualifying
Louis Parker was in tremendous form to be best qualifier with 34 laps which was a full two laps better than second placed driver Nick Bruty who also put in some great driving to beat the other division 1 drivers.

Things were very close in division 3 with Scott Lewis just being fastest 0.09 seconds ahead of Courtney Orme.

In the Mardave class Mike Simpson was best with 27 laps followed by Roy Matthews who drove well to take second place ahead of Joshua Galbraith.

Finals
Joshua Galbraith won the Mardave final with a fine performance beating pole position driver Mike Simpson into second place. well done Josh – can he win again next week?

Scott Lewis had an easy win in the GT12 C Final being four laps ahead of Matt Popejoy who had a mechanical failure on his car about a minute from the end of the race.

The B Final was a superb race with Bob Harley starting from pole position and chased all the way through the race by Dave Tomlinson, Bob held onto his position to win by just over three seconds with Dave taking second place and Nick Wallace third.

In the A Final Louis Parker starting from pole position had his car flying and with an almost faultless drive had a runaway victory setting the fastest lap and finishing three laps clear of the other drivers – good stuff Louis!
Behind him there was a frantic battle for second and third places between Gavin Maciver, Darren Ford and Nick Bruty, at the finish they finished in this order all on the same lap. A great race to watch!

Who can roll up a carpet the neatest?

Next week is the final round of the current summer league, several positions will be decided by the results, especially in division 2 where new leader Nick Bruty is just three points ahead of Dave Tomlinson – will look forward to an exciting finish.
